    Description

    Forest Park Baptist Church is a newly organized church in Fort Worth, Texas. Discussing an upcoming sermon, left to right are Joe A. Johnson, Alvin Kay, and Reverend George N. Villines. Johnson and Kay are deacons with the church while Reverend Villines is the pastor. Reverend Villines served three years overseas during World War II as an infantry sergeant. He incorporates some battle stories along with Bible stories in his sermons. The men are looking at a globe and reading from the Bible. All three are dressed in suits. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 7, 1946.
