Description
The heavy going in the Louisiana mud does nothing to discourage appetites of the officers. Answer the welcome call to officers' mess in Troop K, One Hundred and Twelfth Cavalry, the group about the table consists of (left to right), First Lieutenant R. R. Houghton of Dallas; Second Lieutenant Pat Trufill of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and First Lieutenant Clyde Grant & Second Lieutenant Jack Minter, both of Abilene, Texas. The men are seen sitting under a tent eating.
