Mrs. Clifford T. Ayres will soon travel to the Philippines to meet her husband, engineer Mr. Clifford T. Ayres. Mrs. Ayres will surprise her husband with the 1946 model car. Both the car and the engineer's wife will travel to the Philippines on a ship. Mrs. Ayres is shown climbing behind the wheel, wearing a hat, blouse, blazer, and a skirt. Her purse is tucked underneath her arm. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 26, 1946.
