    Description

    Bill Martin is a juvenile story book author. He is visiting Fort Worth, Texas as a stop on his book tour. He autographed copies of his books at Fair and Monnig's book stores and read during story book hour at the public library. Mr. Martin began writing children's stories as a pastime while in the Army. They were so successful, he started publishing the stories. His brother, Bernard Martin provides the illustrations. Mr. Martin is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a tweed suit and smiling for the camera. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 26, 1946.
