Description
The Cooperative Clubs International is holding a banquet at the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth, Texas. In attendance, left to right, are Emil J. Thomas and Eugene Rutledge. Mr. Thomas, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is president of the club. He is dressed in a dark pinstripe suit. He is shown presenting a charter to the newly organized Fort Worth chapter, which enters the organization with seventy-five members. As the first president, Mr. Rutledge is accepting the charter on behalf of the club. He is wearing a three-piece suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 24, 1946.
