Description
Jeff D. Ray is celebrating his eighty-sixth birthday, Sunday. His recipe to living a long life is to "never be idle". His first job began seventy-five years ago as a farm hand. Since then, Mr. Ray has had many and varied jobs including preaching and teaching at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently works as a columnist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, writing four columns a week. Mr. Ray is shown dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit with a bow tie, and eyeglasses. He is sitting at his desk, drafting an upcoming column. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 24, 1946.
