Hicks Field. Love Field civilian instructors who flew planes here, left to right, M. P. Exline, F. C. Miller, G. A. Englert, T. W. Adair and S. Garber. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition 1940-08-01. Photograph of six men standing in a grassy field. In the background close to them are six, two seater, small aircraft. They are all dressed in civilian clothing. Three of the men are wearing flight training helmets and goggles. The men are now civilian flight instructors. They previously flew planes at Hicks Field when they were in the military.
