    Attending groundbreaking ceremonies for the Oakhurst Presbyterian Church's new auditorium are (from left) Reverend (Rev.) Fred W. Tyler, pastor; Reverend (Rev.) J. F. Hardie, Reverend (Rev.) Robert Boshen, Mrs. W. G. Phillips, Roland B. McGinnis and W. E. Hurt. In the picture, there is a group of unidentified people gathered outside for the service. Roland B. McGinnis is breaking the ground with a shovel while everyone is watching. The people are dressed in either suits and pants or a skirt. Construction of auditorium will begin immediately and is expected to be completed early next year. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 18, 1946.
