Texas Christian University (TCU) Ex Students Association members, Mr. and Mrs. Elster Haile are pictured here. They are shown seated at a table with food in front of them. They are both wearing suits and eyeglasses and smiling at the camera. Mrs. Haile is wearing a hat with flowers on the top. They met on the university campus when they were in the class of 1905. Mr. Haile is now chairman of the Board of Pardons. Mrs Haile, daughter of T. E. Shirley, is a member of the board of trustees for 20 years and several years its president. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 17, 1946.
