Mrs. Gus Rahr is being installed as the new president of the Tarrant County Gold Star Mothers Club. The club is made up of mothers who lost sons to military service in World War II. Mrs. Rahr is succeeding Mrs. W. C. O'Briant. The installation is part of a candlelight ceremony at the Hotel Texas. Mrs. Rahr is shown standing in front of a door.
