    Description

    Walter C. Gran is a dramatic reader from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Gran lost his sight at 17 years old. For 25 years he has been cutting plays, memorizing his versions, and presenting them to an audience. He attended Jamestown College in North Dakota, where he presented Harold Bell Wright's "The Shepherd of the Hills." For the last three years, Mr. Gran has been giving his dramatic reading of Lloyd C. Douglas' "The Robe." He is shown sitting in a chair, dressed in a double-breasted suit.
