    Description

    R. E. Harding, right, president of Fort Worth National Bank became the number one friend of Forest Park Zoo when he lent $2,000 to the Fort Worth Zoological Society to buy a baby elephant. He is shown at the Star-Telegram office, where he handed the check to Harry Adams, and Doctor Abe Greines, left. Mr. Harding is wearing a dark double breasted suit. Mr. Adams is treasurer of the Society. He is dressed in a suit. Doctor Greines is chairman of the park board's Zoo committee and a director in the Zoological Society. He is wearing a light colored suit. There is an unidentified woman standing behind the bars of the teller window.
