    Shown here is Mrs. W. C. Lisby. She is recieving a long-distance phone call from her husband, W. C. Lisby, a technician fifth grade, stationed with Task Force "Williwaw" in the Aleutians. He was sent there in September. The call is celebrating the couple's third wedding anniversary. Mrs. Lisby is sitting in a chair and looking at a photograph of her husband while talking on the phone. She is wearing a dark velvet blouse with lace accents, a matching skirt, and a pearl necklace. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 12, 1946.
