Description

Gunnery Sergeant W. M. Mooneyham is a veteran of four and a half years of overseas duty in the South Pacific. He was recently transferred to Fort Worth, Texas to head the Marine Corps recruiting station. He is replacing Staff Sergeant Hugh C. Lindsey. Sergeant Mooneyham joined the Marine Corps eight years ago. He holds the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with two battle stars. He is shown sitting on a chair, dressed in his military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 11, 1946.
