    Description

    Pictured here is Mrs. R. E. Cox, president of Woman's Club. Her hobbies include talking to people and collecting figurines and small pieces of decorative china, porcelain and bisque. She is the former Bertha Head of Holly Springs, Arkansas. She moved to Fort Worth, Texas as a young girl with her brother and became a Texan when she married her husband, of Stephenville, Texas. She has three children and six grandchildren. In addition to the Woman's Club, Mrs. Cox is an active member of the Mary Isham Keith Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and the First Methodist Church. She is shown standing in her office by the china cabinet, holding a figurine in her hands. She is wearing a dark dress and a pearl necklace and pearl earrings.
