Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. One of the students participating in the campaign is Freshman Jeanne Johnson. She is demonstrating the "umbrella ostrich" where the bird buries its head in his umbrella and can't see where he's heading. Miss Johnson is wearing a rain coat and holding an umbrella shielding her face from having a good view of the street that she is crossing. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 4, 1946.
