J. D. Ballard, ballyhoo man for "Gulliver's Travels," motion picture screening at the Worth Theater, receiving his meal from Frank Vallet, chef at the Worth Hotel. Mr. Vallet is wearing a chef coat, apron and hat and is holding a five-pound roast. Mr. Ballard stands 8 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 366 pounds, is standing with one foot raised on a chair. He is wearing movie costume of shirt, belt, pants and boots. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 10, 1940
