Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. One of the students participating in the campaign is Miss Laverne Lake. She is demonstrating the dangers of jay-walking - crossing the streets in the middle of the block instead of at the intersection. Miss Lake is wearing a dark blouse and a pleated skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 7, 1946.
