Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. A group of female students volunteered as "Dolly Dimwits" for the "Watch While You Walk Campaign". Participants posed in a group picture are left to right on the front row, are Ramona Gunn, Faye Johnson, Elaine Lovelace, Mrs. D'Arcy Reid, and Veta Fuller. On the back row are Doris Renfro, Virginia Powell, Ruth Garner, Laverne Lake, Carolyn Clarke, Jurine Laseter, and Jeanne Johnson. There is a gallery wall of sculpture photographs behind the group. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 2, 1946.
