Mr. and Mrs. Matthew W. Stokes celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at their home, 2640 Lubbock. They are still hold hands and call each other "honey". In this picture, they are both sitting on a chair outside of a house. Mr. Stokes has one of his hand on Mrs. Stokes' shoulder while she is looking at him. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 26, 1946.
