    Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Newberg are pictured here. They are shown seated in charis. Mr. Newberg is dressed in suits and bow tie and a boutonniere. Mrs. Newberg is wearing a dark color dress and a corsage. They couple was married 50 years ago in Austin and celebrating their golden wedding anniversary, October 20 in the same house in which her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Bradshaw, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. E. A. Wheeler, sister of Mrs. Newberg baked the golden wedding cake. Mr. Newberg was a plumber for 36 years, but is now retired and spends time taking care of his acreage. They have a daughter, Mrs. J. J. McBride and a son, Mr. E. E. Newberg and three grandchildren.
