Description
Fort Worth World War I Fliers Club members got first-hand account of experiences from the World War II veterans involved with the atomic bomb tests at Biniki Atoll in the Marshall Islands. H.B. Ransom (center) is the retiring flight commanded of the club. The younger veterans are Colonel H. T. Wheless (left), Pacific air ace and Brigadier General Roger Ramey (right) who commanded the dropping of the atomic bomb at Bikini last July. The men are standing and having a casual conversation by the fireplace. Both Wheless and Ramey are in their military uniforms.
