    Description

    Tom K. Eplen, Abilene, Texas, president of Texas Good Roads Association, addressed a luncheon meeting of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Junior Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce at the Blackstone Hotel. He launched the Tarrant County campaign for the state "good Roads amendment" to be voted on November 5. He urged voters to vote in favor. If the amendment is not adopted, tax money supposed to go to the Highway Commission for road construction will be diverted. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 17, 1946.
