Description
Charlie Stelzer, market manager of the Walter Jetton Market and Grocery at 7th Avenue and Terrel, is posed with knives in hand crossed in front of him and standing by the butcher block and other equipment. The Fort Worth's butchers began sharpening their knives and cleaves in pleasant anticipation of larger supply of meats and steaks, chops and roasts as a result of decontrol. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 15, 1946.
