Officials and friends enjoy the barbecue in Irving, Texas at the formal opening of Humble Pipe Line Company's gasoline line. They are left to right, Fred D. McMahon, O. R. Smith, Harry Lingle and A. E. Pecore. All are Houston officials of Humble Pipe Line Company, except Smith, president of the Smith Construction Company, Fort Worth, which built the line. They are standing next to each other holding their beverage and plates of barbecue, and enjoying in conversation. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 16, 1946.
