Miss Jean Colwell is going to Japan as a civil service worker. She has completed packing her wardrobe and is awaiting orders to sail to Japan. Included in the year's supply of clothes she is taking are a fur coat, a fox fur cape, a fur evening jacket and two silver fox scarves. The trunk is packed behind her as she sits in a chair and reads a book. She is reading Thirty seconds over Tokyo by Ted W. Lawson. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 16, 1946.
