Description
Mrs. August Krueger, Meridian, Texas who is backing a move to obtain state aid in the treatment of Texas children afflicted with cerebral palsy. She is seated at a desk with a binder of documents in front of her and bookshelves behind her. She is the president of the Bosque County Spastic Circle. Her 17 year old daughter, Doris Merle Kreuger is a victim of spastic paralysis. Mrs. Kreuger want other Texas spastics to the the opportunity to improve their condition and she estimates that there are 6,000 spastic children in Texas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 11, 1946.
