The Polytechnic High School football team is off to a good start in the 1946 season. Two important cogs for the Parrots, left to right, are Ben Tompkins and John Bradford. Tompkins, a standout halfback, is shown running the balling during practice. Bradford, a center, is a terror on offense and defense. He is practicing his blocking technique.
