Here are a couple of those packs that are due to develop sore back muscles for a lot of foot soldiers when the Louisiana maneuvers begin for the Third Army. Shown here making final inspections of their packs at the Page Street armory are two members of Company D, One Hundred and Eleventh Medical Regiment, Louis Klimist (left) and Fred Bishop.
