Description

Ellsworth Vines is a golfer and a former tennis star. He retired from tennis in 1940 and became a professional golfer in 1942. Mr. Vines is competing in the Fort Worth Open. He completed a pace-setting round of sixty-five to give him the first day lead. Mr. Vines is shown breaking out practice balls for a session with his brassie, the second longest club in the bag. He is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers.
