Percy Waardal is a native of Bergen, Norway. He is in Fort Worth, Texas visiting his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Finn Wahl. Mr. Waardal spent nearly a year in German concentration camps during the Holocaust for harboring an English airman in his home. He lost forty-pounds in three months at one of the camps. Mr. Waardal will return to Norway around Christmas time to be with his wife and their three children. He is shown sitting in a lounge chair, smoking a pipe. He is dressed in a short-sleeve shirt and trousers. He said he liked Fort Worth and would like to live in America. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 1, 1946.
