Byron Nelson is a professional golfer and a native of Texas. He is considered one of the greatest golfers of the generation. He is coming off a spectacular season in 1945, which many consider one of the best years any golfer has experienced on tour. Of the thirty-five tournaments, he won eighteen. Eleven of which were consecutive victories. Nelson is shown on the ninth green of the Glen Garden Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. He is sinking a par putt during the practice round. He ended the day with a score of 70, one under par. He is wearing a driving cap, checkered shirt, and trousers.
