Description

John W. Hanes, Undersecretary of the United States Treasury, right, visited Fort Worth, Texas to addressed a group of 150 bankers and business men at the Fort Worth Club. Here, he reminisced with George Thompson Junior, left, his former classmate at Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia and also at Yale University, whom he has not seen since university days. They are sitting next to each other and wearing suits. Mr. Thompson is wearing eyeglasses. Behind them is a lamp atop a table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 10, 1940.
