Back row: trainer Alec Thomas, Jay Haney, John Van Cuyk, George Dockins, manager Ray Hayworth, Charles Samaklis, Jack Paepke, Al Zachary, and Paul McCluskey. The Cats are the Minor League affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. They ended the regular season with a record of 101-53, finishing first in the Texas League.
