Joe W. Driskill is the commercial agent for the Railway Express Agency in Fort Worth, Texas. He is shown measuring a watermelon grown in Parker County. The melon weighs 148-pounds and measures 66-by-56 inches. Mr. Driskill is taking the measurements prior to shipment to Hope, Arkansas. He is dressed in a hat and a suit. Monnig's Department store is in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 1, 1946.
