Description
J. W. Beeman is enjoying a plentiful gladiola bulb harvest. The 450 square-foot plot in his backyard produced nearly 35,000 bulbs. Included in the harvest were Picardy, King Lear, Jonquil in mixed colors and various sizes. The bulbs will be placed in cold storage until next year's planting. Mr. Beeman is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers. He is holding a mason jar. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 1, 1946.
