Description
Four war correspondents are gathered together one year after witnessing the Japanese surrender aboard the battleship Missouri in Tokyo Bay. Pictured left to right, are Lee Van Atta, Charles K. Boatner, Sam E. Kinch, and Robert Wear. All four men work for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Mr. Van Atta is a reporter with the International News Service (I. N. S.). He is dressed in a double breasted pinstripe suit. Mr. Boatner is wearing a double breasted suit. Mr. Kinch is dressed in a double breasted, striped suit. Mr. Wear is wearing a pinstripe suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 1, 1946.
