Description
The Fort Worth Cats played the Beaumont Exporters Sunday at LaGrave Field. In the top of the third inning, Beaumont had two on and no outs. The batter, Jack Robinson, put down a bunt. Cats pitcher Eddie Chandler fielded the ball and fired to third basemen Barney White. The throw beat the slide from Beaumont's Hugh Shelley. The Cats went on to win the game 5-4 for Chandler's 18th win of the season.
