Description

The Knudson family came together for its one-hundreth anniversary program Sunday which was attended by about 1,000 people most of them related to Salve Knudson. The late Salve Knudson came to America with his family from Norway in 1846. Reverend Jesse Knudson, great grandson and pastor of the Oslo Lutheran Church, Texhoma, Oklahoma was in charge of the church service. He is shown standing at the pulpit. He has his left hand resting on an open Bible on the pulpit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 5, 1946.
