Description

Thousands of Fort Worth, Texas citizens are flocking to the Fort Worth Army Air Field (FWAAF) for Air Force Day. In attendance, left to right, are Miss Loys Vick, Miss June Amos, Miss La Verne Farmer, Miss Billie Henson, and Miss Martha Reynolds. The women are gazing skyward at seventy Warcraft took off for an aerial review over the Southwest in observance of Army Air Forces Day. Miss Vick is wearing a dress and a pearl necklace and holding a purse. Miss Amos is dressed in a sleeveless blouse and a dark skirt. Miss Farmer is wearing a checkered dress and holding a purse. Miss Henson is wearing a pinafore dress. Miss Reynolds is wearing a floral dress and holding a purse and a document in her right hand. She is pointing an airplane with her left hand.
