Description
Maurice T. Clark, looking at his bound volume of war news. Since August 24, 1939, he has kept the front pages of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in bound volumes, mounting the continuations on the back of each page. He is holding open the volume, displaying two pages; the right page consists of a map of Northern Europe and the headline of the left page reads, "British Carry War To Germans Land On Enemy-Held Territory." Clark is wearing a long-sleeve button-up shirt, a necktie and trousers. He is wearing eyeglasses and is smoking a pipe.
