Description

Many golfers that played in Meadowbrook and Rockwood golf courses, Saturday July 20th, provided proof that Fort Worth's golfing fraternity gets better as the summer simmers along. Some golfer however, dress for comfort rather than appearance and seldom break 90 for 18 holes but enjoy the game. Shown here is Frank Pettit, attired in short pants and a floppy straw hat in action shot. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 28, 1946.
