Shown here is Stripling Junior High Bobcats. Left to right, first row, Buddy Moore, Morris Reinhart, Buddy Reusch, Bill Sitton; second row, Cecil Ray, Karl Vasen, Robert Carson and Coach Bill Jenkins. All boys are posed jogging around the field. They are wearing trousers and mostly T-Shirts, caps and having their softball gloves. The Stripling Bobcats won the junior high school softball loop title in the Fort Worth Boys' Club play this summer. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 2, 1948.
