Description
Twice champion Iverson Martin belts a wood shot down No. 14 fairway. As Martin, in a hat and striped pants, tees off, spectators stand behind him. Ivey lost this hole to Royal Hogan's birdie two but came back to capture the hard-fought city semifinals battle, one up 19 holes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 21, 1946.
