Fort Worth residents have many reasons for wanting to cast ballots in the coming election, and in their minds the important things is that no citizen should fail to take advantage of the right to vote. Miss Mary Paige Thompson, student at Texas University. Thompson says "This is the first year I've been old enough to vote. Of course I'm going to cast my ballot." She is photographed in a dress and hat and carries a purse under her left arm. She is in a parking lot of automobiles. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 21, 1946.
