Amateur golfers in Fort Worth, Texas are preparing for the 1946 City Golf Tournament. Pictured left to right, on the front row, are Bill Prince, Ralph Blackwell, and Bob Hafele. On the back row, are James Bell, Norman Rowland, and L. D. Hardin. The men are gathering to read a thermometer, proof of the sweltering July day. They are dressed in golf attire. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 19, 1946.
