Happy Ending -- Losers of a junior boys doubles tennis match that lasted two days offer congratulations, a handshake between losers and winners. Four participants are shown here. Left to right are Henry Marino, Tommy O'Connell, Bob Guthrie and Bud Donnelley. Three of them are wearing tee shirt and Bob has a plaid shirt. Tommy and Bud are wearing baseball cap. Marino and O'Connell won but were eliminated later in the day. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 13, 1946.
