    Description

    The Armour & Company Packing Plant is preparing Monday's heavy cattle purchases for Wednesday delivery. Pictured inside one of the huge cooling rooms at the plant, left to right, are Frank Zacek and H. C. Mitchell. Mr. Zacek of Handley, Texas, is holding the beef carcass while Mr. Mitchell brands the beef "U. S. Good". Both men are dressed in a hat, smock, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 11, 1946.
