Auto Shaker -- Motorists who want to get a good shaking up while limbering up their old automobiles are advised to take the scenic loop drive out of Fort Worth, traversing the one-mile section of the Eagle Mountain Lake spillway. A section of the road is pictured here. It shows the washboard surface which extends for a mile of misery. There is a truck in the distance at scenic overlook. The lake is on the right. The motorist can enjoy the scenery of the lake between jolts. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 9, 1946.
