National Oil Mill Superintendents Association at Hotel Texas in the second day of the 52nd annual convention, the first in four year. Left to right: Fred L. Wilson of Ennis, Texas, unidentified man, H. E. Wilson and Doctor K. S. Markley. President Fred L. Wilson opened the convention by declaring retooling of the nation's oil mills is a major re-conversion project. Transition from hand to mechanical methods in processing must be achieved. Wilson said mills also must extend operation to meet demands. Meeting with the superintendents is the Oil Mill Machinery Manufactures and Supply Association, which was host for a picnic at Swift's Camp on Lake Worth.
